We All Get Dragged Down To Earth

Dropping Down

Here Is A Shot I Took flying over the ocean in a plane[/caption]

A part of me wished I could stay floating in the clouds, but I knew what comes up always comes down.

You can’t defy gravity and no one stays at the top forever, a part of me thinks it’s pointless to even try.

Before now when I landed in a foreign country all I really did was turn my brain off and follow my parents around. Landing by myself this time I had a million things on my mind.

  • Exchange Money
  • Go Through Customs
  • Buy Bus Ticket
  • Get on Right Bus
  • Go To Hotel

Toting around the two child sized bags around made me feel bad for my companions in Skyrim who was eventually turned into a human pack mule(sorry Lydia).

Standing in line waiting to buy my bus ticket all I could think about is the things that could go wrong. Taking the wrong bus and eventually getting lost in a foreign country was the main worry. When it was my turn to buy my ticket, I walked up

“Ah-GEE-Oh onegaishimasu”

I was met with only a perplexed face of the attendant.

I then remembered I was using the good ol’ murican pronunciation.
“Ah-Gay-Oh onegaishimasu” that seemed to clear up the confusion as I was able to receive my ticket. While making my way to the bus stop the handle on of the suitcases busted. Letting out a deep sigh I realized this was just the way my life was half the time, held the suitcase by the smaller handle and proceeded.

Night Bus

Riding on the bus all I wanted to do was sleep the, but sight of the endless concrete jungle before my eyes was such an exhilarating experience. I saw things like the Shuto Expressway home to high speed street races, some of the coolest cars ever, and the never ending lights of a seemingly endless city. I kept taking slipping in and out of consciousness as the bus floated along. Before I knew it all the giant skyscrapers were replaced by smaller buildings, eventually the bus reached the final destination.

Walking In Circles

The bus dropped me off exactly where I needed to be, but because I was a noob I ended up walking around the same building three times before I realized the entrance to my hotel was on the second floor. The last thing I did before knocking out was eating dinner at one of the only places in town still open.
