BEFORE WE OPEN FL STUDIO
There is one more thing we need to do, but trust me this step is very important. Learn from my mistake and listen to what I say rather than what I do.
Organize a file keeping system on your PC or Mac.
A Thing I suggest doing is going into your Music folder and creating a Big Folder Called Music Production. In that folder, there should be two folders called Samples and Projects.

Trust me this will save you a lot of headaches later. . . as I always have to look for samples and projects.
Next In The Projects folder I personally organize by date, but you can organize by genre or however you want.

Open FL Studio!

And you’ll be here yay time to start making music right????
Not Quite We Have to Set Some Things UP first!
Click on options

Make sure the audio output device is set to the thing you have your monitor or headphones hooked up to. If you’re recording you’re going to want to use either FL ASIO or ASIO for All, but we’ll get to that later.

Next, You’re Going to Want to add the folders we created for samples and projects so that they’ll display in the browser on the left.
Finally, Think of a Name for Your Project.
Once you have the name of your project in mind.

Remember why I said file structuring is important, making this folder exactly where you want is important. It will then ask you to save if you want to save the project in that folder. . . click yes.
Lastly

Fill out this info pane so when you export the file it will have the correct information in the MP3 or Wav Tags.
