An Adorable APEX LEGENDS Nessie Cafe In Tokyo

Apex Legends Cafe in Japan is So Cute 🥰

Despite not being a wildly successful content creator, I still find value in sharing some of the unique experiences I’ve had. My life has taken some interesting turns, and moving to Japan has definitely been one of the more challenging yet rewarding decisions. Here, I’ve been able to dive deep into my interests, and as someone who identifies as an Otaku, I’ve found plenty of outlets for those passions. In Japan, being an Otaku doesn’t just mean you’re into anime or video games—you can be deeply interested in anything, from trains to cars, and I’ve got more than my fair share of hobbies.

One of my obsessions for the past four years has been a game called Apex Legends. It’s become so popular in Japan that it even has its own themed café. Naturally, I had to check it out the Apex Legends Cafe in Japan.

I Just Had To Go

When I arrived, the café had a range of food options, hip-hop music playing, and even a space dedicated to playing Apex Legends. The atmosphere had a cyberpunk vibe, reminding me of the E-District of Suotamo. It was a bit nostalgic—getting excited over a simple burger and lemonade, even though the food was slightly overpriced. But, like most themed cafes, the experience is less about the food and more about the ambiance. The crowd was diverse, and surprisingly, a lot of the patrons were young women, which I didn’t expect.

There was also a small gift shop with various souvenirs. I ended up buying some T-shirts, a hoodie, and a jacket. Lately, whenever I visit exhibits or limited-time museums, I try to pick up something practical like clothing or art books—it helps me justify the expense.

Only a Couple People Bothered to Watch

In an attempt to build my social media presence, I made a video about the visit. It took a couple of hours to shoot, edit, and upload, and while it only got about 35 views, I did receive an organic comment from a stranger. That alone made the effort feel somewhat worthwhile.

A Unique Experience: The Apex Legends Café Visit

Overall, the Apex Legends café visit was an interesting experience. It wasn’t just about the food or the merchandise but about being able to immerse myself in something I’m passionate about. The video didn’t get a lot of attention, but documenting it was still worth it. Sometimes, it’s more about enjoying the moment than the reaction it gets. I’ll keep sharing these experiences, regardless of the outcome. Thanks for checking it out.

Embracing Change: My Journey from Japan to a New Horizon in 2024

This is the story of my Japan Life Awakening in 2024. As the first dawn of 2024 broke, I found myself in a familiar place – my bed. I pondered the tumultuous ride that was 2023. It was a year marked by challenges and introspection. This year that made me question the essence of change and personal growth. Typically, I’ve been skeptical about New Year’s resolutions. Why make them when so little seems to change? But as I lay there, a spark ignited within me, a realization that perhaps, believing in change is the first step towards transformation.

Japan Life Awakening 2024: A Year of Resilience and Redefinition

2023 was a year that tested my resilience. Living in Japan and navigating through its unique work culture while trying to maintain a balance with my personal life, wasn’t always easy. As an expat, I constantly adapted to new environments, languages, and traditions. This experience, though enriching, often left me feeling overwhelmed. The dark, calm void of my room became a refuge, a place to float in nothingness and escape when the world’s noise grew too loud.

But as New Year’s Eve came to a close, a renewed sense of hope began to take root. What if 2024 could be different? What if it could be a year of positive change, a time to step out of the shadows of doubt and into the light of possibility? This led to a profound decision: to leave Japan and embark on a new journey, both professionally and personally.

The simple things often recharge us, giving the strength to pursue new dreams. I decided to make 2024 a year to remember. 2024 would be my Japan Life Awakening where I’d really reach for my dreams. This year I’d embrace new challenges, explore new opportunities, and rediscover myself.

As I share this journey with you, I hope it inspires you to believe in the power of change. All it takes is one bold step towards your dreams. Every year should be better than the last.

Kusatsu Onsen Trip

Before the Corona Virus really took off, my girlfriend and I headed to the neighboring prefecture Gunma. Kusatsu onsen is one of Gunma’s main attractions! It was a relaxing day of sightseeing, eating, and relaxing in a natural hot spring bath.

Tokyo Auto Salon 2019: Part 1

When I was invited to go to Tokyo Auto Salon, it was an offer I couldn’t refuse. Not a fan of big crowds of people, or really leaving the comfort of my own home on the weekends, it was my love of cars that made me leave my shell.

In my pursuit to make a living from creative work, I often hit walls where it feels like I’m failing to improve at a certain thing. I’m glad I went to tokyo auto salon because I really got my ass kicked.

I Learned So Much In My One day There

There are moments in life where you get destroyed so badly that it sparks a paradigm shift. That day made me realize that I had so much to grow as a photographer as the crowds of people forced me to work my Camera’s controls more rapidly than I had ever before.(I shoot in manual mode) The lack of time, space, and the random strangers who apparently don’t care that you’re taking a put me in a position where I had to come up with more creative compositions.

These are some of my best shots, stay tuned for part two where I’ll write about my mistakes!!
